Beloved Dog Influencer Raffie Dies Suddenly on Christmas Eve

The social media community is mourning the loss of Raffie, a beloved bulldog influencer best known from the viral BundleofBullies account, who died suddenly on Christmas Eve following a tragic incident at a dog daycare.

Raffie’s owner, Maren Peeters, confirmed the heartbreaking news in an emotional video shared with her followers. Fighting back tears, Peeters explained that she was on holiday in Austria when she received a call from the daycare facility where she had boarded her dogs, a routine arrangement she trusted and had used before.

According to Peeters, the incident occurred when the daycare owner attempted to take the dogs outside. During that moment, one of Peeters’ other bulldogs, Pickles, reportedly attempted to attack Raffie. Amid the chaos, Raffie suddenly collapsed and suffered what was described as a fatal heart attack. Despite immediate efforts by the daycare owner to perform CPR, Raffie could not be revived.

Peeters also revealed that another of her dogs, Odin, stepped in to protect Raffie during the incident. Odin sustained serious injuries while trying to defend his longtime companion and was rushed to a veterinarian. While Odin survived, Peeters later shared that he required urgent medical treatment and ongoing care.

“Odin is Raffie’s best friend. He tried to save him,” Peeters said in her video. “I still cannot believe this happened. Raffie was my best friend.”

Raffie had amassed a massive online following, with nearly 700,000 followers on Instagramover 1.5 million on TikTok, and more than 1.7 million on Facebook. Known for his expressive personality and close bond with his fellow bulldogs, Raffie had become a comforting and joyful presence for millions of viewers worldwide.

Following the incident, Peeters shared an update requesting help with Odin’s veterinary expenses, stating that the cost of treatment was significant and that the situation had left her emotionally and financially overwhelmed.

Raffie’s death adds to a series of emotional losses involving famous pets this year and has reignited conversations online about animal safety, dog daycare practices, and the deep bonds between pets and their owners.

As tributes continue to pour in across social media, fans remember Raffie not just as an internet sensation, but as a loyal companion whose life brought happiness to millions.
